Occupational Therapist

Paola Azzuolo is a mother of four adult children with over 30 years of experience as an occupational therapist.  She started her career in 1984 in adult mental health.  Since 1998, she has been working in paediatrics and loving it, as it is a coming together of the whole person. She has had the privilege of working with children from ages 0 – 7 in a children’s treatment centre.  She worked on the feeding team and the oral motor team. Presently, she is the owner operator of All Kids Can Fly, www.allkidscanfly.ca, offering home based occupational therapy services to children in the Peel and Halton region.

Paola has supplemented her years of experience with numerous professional development courses.  Mealtime strategies are taken from the SOS approach (Kay Toomey), the SOFFI approach, Food chaining, the division of responsibility (Ellyn Satter), Feeding Matters (Suzanne Evan-Morris), sensory integrative approaches and behavioural approaches.
